Sandra Orellana was a worker's compensation specialist at a staffing company based in Houston, Texas called Skillmaster. In November of 1996, she joined company executive Robert Salazar on a business trip to California. After an evening of drinking and dancing, Sandra went back to her hotel room and fell to her death 8 stories sometime in the middle of the night. Initially, detectives thought it was a suicide since nobody called 911 until several hours later when another hotel guest discovered her early the next morning.
